new new new!!!

I have decided to have a new beginning...

My New Blog

I may still occasionally come back to this blog...
Stay tune to my new blog oh...

Into the 2nd week of the new sem

HORAYYY!!! Kelantan has declared a holiday today for the Manik Urai by-election!!!
Finally, I get to recharge my almost depleted batteries.

Last week was exhausting...
The day I arrived in Kelantan, I took all my things, that filled my car to the brim, into my outcampus room on the 3rd floor.
Boxes & boxes of heavy stuff...
Then, with just 4 hours of sleep, I drag my sleepy head into my car & drove to the bus station to pick up my friends.
It's the day where all of my friends flock back to our campus.
I get to know that our desasiswa can offer us a temporary place in the campus...
Such a unexpected twist of fate...
It's good to have a place to stay in campus, I should be happy.....
But, at the same time, I dread shifting all my stuff from my outcampus room to my new room that happens to be located on the 3rd floor...
With the help of some friends, I manage to shift everything into my new room... Not without it's consequences, the ligaments of my leg hurts...
At night, I have to attend an interview for BigSib. Thankfully, it didn't went horribly wrong....

The 1st day of my new sem was a breeze, just some light lectures, really hope that the whole of 1st week is like this...
Too bad my wish didn't come true, the remaining days was hectic... With all sorts of new information, challenges & experiences bombarding me from all directions...    PBL, BigSib, Juniors, Books...
Then, like a marathon, my weekend is spent in a camp somewhere in Pasir Puteh...
It's to prepare us as BigSib for the challenges lying ahead.
On the bright side, it's held at a beach camp, one with a roof above our heads...
The highlight of the camp was the 18km trek that saw us conquering beaches, pine forest, grassland filled with "landmines" aka cow dung, a shallow stream, villages, padi fields, an extremely low hill and swamps. Very tiring but at the same time, extremely fulfilling...

Then ,with just a slightly more than 12hours rest, it's back to lectures, PBL... hectic & exhausting...

Which brings me back to the present, hopefully today is enough for me to recharge my batteries...

Beauty

A band of rainbow at the fringe of clouds surrounding the setting sun. It's such a beautiful sight for the eye to behold...
I fanatically tried to capture the view, but, alas, it evaded my camera's sensor...
It make me realised that there are somethings that we can't capture in photo...

To quote my roommate, "things that can be capture are not the most beautiful; real beauty can't be captured"

Dinner...

Guess what I had for dinner today???
11 pieces of sushi (from Tesco) & 3 pieces of muffin (from Kenny Rogers)
That was really finger licking good!!! Hundreds & thousands time better than my usual dinner or lunch here...
Although it might have been better if the sushi was from Jusco or better Sushi King, I'll settle for what I got here... Haha....
